でもI am gonna oversleep tomorrowは言わない

(let / make / have / get v to)

these verbs cause somethng elso happen

let, have, make, get, help

Can you let me drive your car?
Let me come in.
Don't let the travel expenses surpas 30,000 yen.

I do not permit my employee to eat lunch at their desk.
I do not allow my kids to play the video game.

I will have him call you back.
The manager had his secretary translate the documents.

I am going to have my hair cut.
I need to have my car repaired.

Don't make me do it.(無理やり
Why do schools make us wear uniforms?(無理やり必要な事
Donald Trump wanted to make global companies pay border tax.(無理やり必要な事

I got my American friend to try some Natto(納豆)
How do I get my employees to work harder?

First, my student said English is not important. but I got him to study it because it is very important.

English skills help you find a job.
Taking bath before bed helps you fall asleep fast.

*helpはtoを使ってもOK(あまり使わんけど)
(English skills help you to find a job)

⭕️ I am going to sleep in tomorrow because I have nothing to do.
❌ I am going to oversleep tomorrow.

⭕️ I'm sorry I'm late. I overslept.
❌ I'm sorry I'm late. I slept in.

In English, we don't say "I overslept."

1. 今決めた (will) vs 予め決めてた(be going to)

Let me see... I will see Prirates of the Carribean.(映画館のWeb見ながら)
I am going to see the movie with my friend this weekend.(既に友達と約束済みの場合)

I will help you.
I will let you borrow my pen.

I will have a cheeseburger.

Don't worry. I won't tell anybody.
親:Do your homework! 子:Yes, I will

If you don't stop it, I will tell your teacher.

will) vs 確実に起こる(be going to)

I am going to see the movie.

I think Koike san will become Japan's first female prime minister.
Koike san is going to become Japan's first female  prime minister.

I think it will rain tomorrow.
It is going to rain tomorrow.

I am going to school tomorrow.

think I will probably see the movie.
am probably going to see the movie.

They won't listen to me any more.
